Not so Wordless Wednedsay

I’m off to the home improvement big box store for  paint for the living room, dining room, bedroom, entry way…never mind.

In the meantime here I am in a couple of musical situations.

pam-dusting

The  thing I’m dusting is a big memory in my little mind.  You can see the TV, the radio, the rabbit ears, and the cool doors.  This thing was magic,  the space below the radio was a turntable, and you can see some of my Dad’s 33 1/3 record collection, which fit neatly into the space below the TV.  It was a Magnavox unit.  The thing I remember the most is that we couldn’t dance.  If we jumped, the needle jumped and that made Dad mad.  He liked to listen, and he played his mostly classical collection at high volume, but you just didn’t dance.

Music?

Music?

No wonder all I can play is a radio.  Look at the instrument they got me.  Just look.

Happy Wednesday.
