I am posting information gleaned from land records in the areas where our family’s ancestors resided. You can read more about this project in the overview . This group pertain to Papa’s Fellows ancestors who resided in Newaygo County, Michigan.

A part of Section 13, T11N R13W beginning at the SW corner of the E 1/2 of the SW 1/2, then running E 61 rods, then N 20 rods 4 ft, then W 61 rods, then S 20 rods 4 ft to the beginning, excluding 7 rods square in the SW corner for the Advent Church of Ashland.

The location of this land is illustrated on the Ashland Township map from the old Newaygo County Atlas¹. This is the strip below the lot sold to Henry H. Fellows, Jr., on this deed. You can see a larger view by clicking on the thumbnail. Mr. Raynor owned the land at the time the information for this atlas was gathered, his name appears on the plat.
