I’m a lot better now. I’ve got a lot of “stuff” backed up, undone and begging for attention. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up quickly.
I’m going to be checking out my site maps, my links and some other stuff to be sure hey are all current and working. I’m not sure about the site map generator, and now is the time to figure this stuff out. If you happen to read this blog and have a site of your own, let me know and I’ll add you to the links. I really like Michigan related, or bluegrass related links. If you have a genealogy site, I’m going to revamp the links on my genealogy blog soon, let me know about it!
Winter is approaching here, but not as rapidly as it does in our former home in northwest lower Michigan. They’ve got some cold weather already. I know their leaves are down, and mine still won’t fall. Perhaps there will be a day soon that I can work in the yard, it really needs it.
I’m also looking for simple knitting patterns. If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you know that I used to spend most bluegrass festivals knitting mittens for various shelters and charities. I let that go a couple of years ago, now I tell Papa what pictures to take, hold a camera or a lens, or watch the show. I just noticed that I have quite a bit of yarn around here, mostly inherited from my Mom. I want to use up the small quantities, mostly a skein or less, making something useful while filing my cold winter football/hockey watching evenings. No, I’m not watching the Lions.
So have a good day, comment here or somewhere, and send me a simple recipe for something knitted!
