Belle’s Box – 3-112 and 3-113

This entry is part 287 of 342 in the series Belle's Box

Read about this series of posts, regarding items in a box originally owned by Belle (Lamunion) Fellows Tinker here. The cast of characters is located here. And, there is an accounting of people about whom I have little information here.

The numbering of these posts had been modified to signify that I am posting items from my archival book three, a three precedes the item number.

These two photos are winter scenes. I believe they may be of the big “Cadillac Ice Story”, which I wrote about on Granny Pam. I posted six photos from my grandmother’s book showing the effects of the storm in Cadillac, where my grandparents lived.

The “Cadillac Storm” is described on page 5 of this PDF. The exact date is given as February 22, 1922.

Here are the two from Belle’s box, which may have been taken in Colfax Township, where Belle lived at the time of the storm, February 22, 1922.
