Our trip to Jekyll this year is much shorter that last year. It is as cold as I have experienced in 10+ trips, so I imagine it is really cold at home in the north.
We did walk on the beach, here is the evidence:

The water looks cold, doesn’t it?

Granny lives in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
I like genealogical research, gardening, cool weather, spending time with my family, and bluegrass music.
It is downright frigid in NY! I’m already counting down the days until we leave for Florida in Feb. Enjoy the beach despite the chill!

I am so jealous!
It was fun, but too short. When we got there they had “upgraded” our room to a two bedroom suite. That was because I changed the reservation so we could go up north for a memorial service, So we had room for six more people than we had in our car. If you had been there, you would have had a home! There was another bedroom with two doubles, and a fold out couch. I did enjoy the kitchen, I had a table for my computer, and Bill still had a desk. And we cooked all our meals.
