Granny Tells You What's Going On

The Old Spinning Wheel

We were over at the Charlotte (Michigan) bluegrass festival last weekend.  We had fun.  Papa took pictures, and a little video.  This one is of our friends playing the song we really like to hear.

Red, on banjo,  was happier with this version, he said he “Didn’t miss that one part.”.  Huh?  I wouldn’t have noticed that.  What I do like is this one has bass and mandolin.  The previously posted version had only guitar and banjo.

So, here are Red Martin, R.J. Thomas, Ralph Paige, Jimmy Kittle and Billy Irvine for your listening pleasure.

There are 500+ photos of our weekend at Charlotte, you can see them on Papa’s site.

Thanks Tipper. Around here we say, “I don’t have any cats”. I guess that’s a whole post in itself. Our oldest daughter brought the kittens home, so I don’t have any. But, I’m the homebody, so they think I’m the mom. So, D1 says, “I don’t have any cats”. Ha. We enjoy Red’s playing a bunch, and Old Spinning Wheel is the song we always want to hear him do.
